PHOENIX — The Arizona Animal Welfare League is putting on its 27th annual Walk to Save Animals on Saturday morning at Tempe Beach Park.
The largest and oldest no-kill shelter in the state will host participants from 8 a.m. to noon in a 2K or 5K-length walk.
It costs $35 per participant to partake in the walk to be held at the park located at 80 W. Rio Salado Parkway. Proceeds from the event will go to support vulnerable animals throughout Arizona…
