The Carrboro Town Council in North Carolina has set November 4-12, 2025, as a time to recognize people transitioning from active military service. The council passed a resolution to acknowledge the service and contributions of United States Armed Forces members.
Carrboro will participate in the national Operation Green Light initiative. Town Hall will be lit with green lights, and residents and businesses are encouraged to do the same.
