A two-vehicle crash occurred on Old Hickory Boulevard at Southfork Boulevard in Nashville on Friday. Bart Burton, 67, died in the incident. The crash happened at 1:15 p.m. Burton was driving a 1998 Toyota Camry northbound when he crossed into oncoming traffic and sideswiped a southbound pickup truck.
After the collision, Burton’s car went through the intersection, hit a curb, and overturned. He was taken to Skyline Medical Center and was pronounced dead. The pickup truck driver had minor injuries and was taken to Summit Medical Center. Witnesses said Burton was speeding before the crash. Police found no signs of impairment in either driver…
