ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The St. Petersburg Police Department has announced the arrest of four men over the weekend following an operation targeting individuals attempting to meet minors for sexual purposes.
Dubbed “Operation Spooky Surprise,” detectives entered online chat rooms and websites known for facilitating human trafficking and connections with children. Undercover officers posed as boys or girls aged 14 and 15 and engaged in conversations with the suspects.
