Appleton cultural gifts store to close after nearly four decades on College Avenue

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – A longtime cultural gifts store in Appleton has announced it will close its doors, with its owners retiring before the end of 2025.

Angels Forever Windows of Light, located at 310 W. College Ave. in Appleton, will close for good after Dec. 7 as the store’s owners prepare to retire.

The business, which has operated for 38 years on West College Avenue, is holding major sales on a variety of cases, displays, furniture and merchandise.

“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything,” the owners said in a social media post. “The business has been on [West College Avenue] for 38 years and we have been its caretakers for the past 29. It’s a rarity for a business to make it this long, and it’s because of you, our wonderful customers and friends.”
