Deputies investigate possible connection between ATM thefts in Waverly and McCook

WAVERLY, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an ATM theft in Waverly.

The theft happened at the Horizon Bank on 140th Street and Cornhusker Highway on Friday between 7:45 p.m. and 8:05 p.m.

Sheriff Terry Wagner said two people in a dark gray or gold sedan with no front plates pulled up to the ATM and began withdrawing money. The thieves reportedly quickly opened and closed the ATM before driving off. There were no signs of forced entry…
