Chemours’ Fayetteville Plant Emissions Data Dispute Raises Concerns for Local Residents

Environmental attorneys say Chemours did not include required emissions data in its August 14, 2025, air permit application for expanding the Fayetteville Works plant in North Carolina. The Southern Environmental Law Center sent a letter on September 19. The letter asked the state’s Department of Environmental Quality to require Chemours to submit a revised application with complete emissions information.
