On October 26, 2025, deputies from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a fight on Unity Street in Thomasville. The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Ashley Elizabeth Rose, left the scene in a vehicle. Officers pursued her, and she committed several traffic violations before stopping on Finch Farm Road and attempting to flee on foot.
Rose was taken into custody after a short pursuit. A firearm was found in her vehicle. She was evaluated by EMS and taken to the Randolph County Detention Center.
