VERSAILLES, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Woodford County man was arrested on Saturday after a juvenile was injured in a shooting in Versailles.
According to an arrest citation, Versailles police arrested 25-year-old Jai Burgess around 10 p.m. on Oct. 25 after allegedly shooting a juvenile in the foot.

A Versailles Police Department officer reported that Burgess said that he saw the victim point a gun at him while driving by, but police did not find any firearms inside the victim’s vehicle.
The citation said six shell casings were found at the scene of the shooting on Macey Avenue.

Burgess is charged with first-degree assault and first-degree wanton endangerment and was lodged in the Woodford County Detention Center with a $50,000 cash bond…
