RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — 8News got a visit from two special guests on Monday to talk about an upcoming scholarship fundraiser and awards luncheon held by the Central Virginia Chapter of the National Black Nurses Association (CVC-NBNA).
8News anchor Delaney Hall was joined by two nurses involved with the event, including Annie Gooden, Chapter Awards Committee Co-Chair, and Patricia Garrett, Chapter Scholarship Committee Chair, as they discussed what people can expect.
The fundraiser will take place on Nov. 8 from 11 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the Cedar Street Baptist Church located at 2301 Cedar Street, and will feature 8News’ own Autumn Childress as the emcee of the event…
