TwinkVision: St. Petersburg’s biggest street festival once again transformed Central Avenue into a vibrant, car-free celebration this past Sunday, as Halloween on Central returned for another unforgettable year.
Stretching across 22 blocks and two business districts, the event drew thousands of attendees in costume for an afternoon of live entertainment, local vendors, family-friendly fun, and endless candy. With streets closed to traffic, the festival created a safe and lively space where families, friends, and performers could take over downtown St. Pete in full Halloween spirit.
The festival showcased the city’s creative heartbeat and community pride, with participation from organizations such as Winter Pride St. Pete, Equality Florida, PRP Wine International (a generous donor of prizes for WMNF’s Big Gay Bingo), This Bookstore Kills Fascists, Sunshine City Roller Derby, Zubrick’s Magic Theatre, and a plethora of other local artists and vendors…
