A Maryland man is facing a dozen felony charges for allegedly burglarizing a Newark-area business on several occasions.
Matthew Ward, 45, of Elkton, is accused in four separate burglaries that happened between Sept. 30 and Oct. 21 at United Lines Construction Services on Ogletown Road, east of Newark.
According to Delaware State Police, Ward stole more than $43,000 worth of copper wire and street lighting equipment that was being kept in storage containers. In three of the burglaries, he cut holes in the business’ fence, causing more than $2,000 in damage…
