Donate Zippy’s pumpkin pie for Salvation Army’s annual Thanksgiving meal

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Seats are packed at each table during the Salvation Army’s annual Thanksgiving Luncheon at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. Crowded with goodwill and up to 2,000 attendees on Nov. 27, Zippy’s customers can make sure there’s pumpkin pie to complete the meal for each family.

Purchased donations of pumpkin pie will be accepted at all Zippy’s locations in Hawaiʻi — a community tradition for over 15 years — starting Monday, Oct. 27, until Sunday, Nov. 23.

For 53 years, the Salvation Army has provided Thanksgiving Meals on Oʻahu. The donated pies will be part of a bulk order on Thanksgiving Day for Salvation Army and served at their luncheon for individuals, families and kupuna…
