Man guilty of murder in 2022 deadly shooting in Oildale

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man has been found guilty of first-degree murder in connection with a deadly shooting in Oildale three years ago.

Michael Castillo, 39, faces up to 106 years to life in prison for shooting Francisco Xavier Rodriguez Jr. at point blank range after the two left an internet casino, according to a District Attorney’s Office release.
