Cleveland City Council asks Ohio governor for help with SNAP during shutdown

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Cleveland City Council sent letters signed by all seventeen of its members to Governor Mike DeWine and U.S. Senators Jon Husted and Bernie Moreno, asking for their assistance in making sure their 165,000 residents don’t lose their SNAP assistance during the federal government shutdown.
