A popular grocery store chain with locations across the South has set an opening date for a new store in a growing area of Lexington County.
Lowes Foods, a North Carolina-based chain, will open a new store on Nov. 6 at 5436 Platt Springs Road in the Platt Springs Crossing development in the Red Bank area, according to a spokesman for the company and posts on the store’s social media.
This will be the sixth Lowes Foods store in the Midlands, following locations on Forest Drive in Forest Acres, on Forum Drive in northeast Columbia, on Augusta Highway in Lexington, on Sunset Boulevard in Lexington and on Chapin Road in Chapin…
