GREENWOOD TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State Police say a 19-year-old man lost control of his vehicle on Interstate 79 in Greenwood Township, Crawford County, leaving the roadway and striking an embankment and then a tree.
The crash happened around 10:02 p.m. on October 24 near mile marker 141 southbound, on the Geneva exit.
According to police, a 2011 Honda Accord, driven by 19-year-old John A. Fortsch, 19, of Cranesville, Erie County, was traveling in the far-right lane when he failed to negotiate a curve and continued straight as the road turned right.
