WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Forsyth County Sheriff Bobby Kimbrough and other Forsyth County officials held a press conference on Tuesday, announcing a new domestic violence response pilot program.
The pilot program is called S.O.S., which stands for Save Our Sisters or Save Our Sons or Save Our Society.
Kimbrough says he was motivated to create the program after learning that he was called by a woman who left a voicemail on his phone pleading for help one night. That woman, Ronda Larochelle Oglesby, was killed over that weekend, allegedly by her estranged husband.
