SHIPPENSBURG- An extensive investigation by Pennsylvania State Police’s Vice Unit has led to additional charges for a Philadelphia man already accused of selling drugs to multiple confidential informants in the Shippensburg areas of Franklin and Cumberland Counties. Clayton Steve Wilson has finally been arraigned on new charges in Cumberland County of four felony counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given an additional bail of $500,000, which he has not posted.
Just before 9pm on October 23rd, Pennsylvania State Police initiated a traffic stop on a blue Ford Fusion driven by Clayton Wilson in the 100 block of Walnut Bottom Road, Shippensburg Township. Wilson was found to be the only person in the vehicle and immediately detained on possession with intent to deliver charges and his vehicle was seized and transported to PSP Chambersburg for further investigation. At the time of his arrest, PSP say that Wilson had three phones on him.
A short time later and on that same day, PSP executed a search warrant on an apartment known to be used by Wilson in the unit block of E King Street in Shippensburg Borough. Troopers say that, upon entry, “large quantities of crack cocaine, cocaine, and pressed pills were located within the residence.” They continue, saying that, “drug making and packaging equipment, along with scales were observed and seized.” Two additional cell phones were located, with all of the suspected narcotics turned over to PSP Chambersburg and subsequently to the PSP Harrisburg Regional Laboratory…
