MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A coastal low-pressure system developed off our coast yesterday but remained offshore and is heading northeast and further out to sea. Most of the clouds and the heaviest rain with this system stayed over the ocean. Temperatures are chilly again this morning, but close to normal in the low-50s inland and mid-50s at the coast. On and off light showers will continue this morning and afternoon.
It will remain windy today, too, with gusts up to 30 mph. In total, less than an inch of rain today and tomorrow. High temperatures will remain abnormally cool for this time of year in the upper-50s inland and near 60 at the coast.
Temperatures will be warmer tomorrow in the mid-60s. On Wednesday night, we will encounter another low-pressure system moving in from the west. There will be rain associated with this system, but it appears to be timed for Wednesday evening into the early morning hours on Thursday…
