Police: 4 injured after shooting in East Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Four people were hurt after a shooting along Ellington Parkway in East Nashville Sunday, officials said.

According to Metro Nashville dispatch, the incident was called in just before 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26 from Cleveland Street and Ellington Parkway.

Dispatch said first responders only brought one individual to the hospital. However, a member of the Metro Nashville Police Department told News 2 that four people sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, the Tennessee Department of Transportation SmartWay traffic map showed the southbound exit ramp was blocked for several hours on Ellington Parkway at Exit 11 to Cleveland Street due to police activity.

A News 2 crew could see law enforcement examining a white sedan and a dark-colored SUV stopped on the ramp, but it was not clear whether the vehicles had been damaged in the shooting…
