Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy visited LaGuardia Airport to sound the alarm about the impacts of the government shutdown, as air traffic controllers miss their first full paycheck on Tuesday.
According to the transportation secretary, it’s the younger air traffic controllers who really can’t wait out a government shutdown, as it enters Day 28, and they miss their first full paycheck. Duffy says many controllers are now taking on second jobs amid the shutdown.
