ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The Roanoke Sheriff’s Office has reported that an individual in custody died on Sunday at the Roanoke City Adult Detention Center.
According to officials, at approximately 5:55 a.m., medical staff were alerted that the individual was showing signs of medical distress. Life-saving measures, including CPR, were administered until Roanoke City Fire and EMS arrived at 6:04 a.m.
