Chatham County PD seeking person of interest in Wilmington Island homicide

WILMINGTON ISLAND, Ga. (WSAV) – The Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) is asking the public to be on the lookout for an individual wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred on Monday.

CCPD officers were dispatched to an apartment building in the 100 block of Oyster Shell Road around 5:00 p.m. on October 27, after a 59-year-old woman was found inside the residence deceased as a result of stab wounds.

Police are currently attempting to locate 37-year-old Addison Martinez in connection with yesterday’s homicide on Wilmington Island. Martinez was driving his mother’s vehicle, which was located a short time later abandoned in a commercial parking lot in Pooler.

Martinez is listed as 5’7”. He is described as being much thinner than he is in this picture, possibly weighing as little as 110 lbs. He is also described as wearing very oversized clothes, possibly including a hoodie…
