South Omaha hotel targeted in raid now abandoned eyesore

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A major eyesore has developed in South Omaha. Neighbors and a city councilman want something done, but a First Alert Six investigation found the property to be in a legal no man’s land.

A raid by federal agencies backed by local law enforcement cleaned out an alleged sex trafficking ring at four metro motels but two months later one of the properties needs a major cleanup near 13th and I-80.

“I’m getting calls from the neighbors and business owners they’re seeing people coming in and out of here on a regular basis, and a lot of this damage is new,” said Omaha City Councilmember Ron Hug…
