SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and it’s an issue that affects all parts of society. In Springfield, Harmony House, a domestic violence shelter, continues to serve and empower victims to escape abusive situations.
“The number one message we want people to know about the resources available at Harmony House is they’re free, and they’re confidential,” said Jared Alexander, Executive Director of Harmony House. “We believe you, we want you to reach out and talk to somebody.”
