Montgomery County authorities dismantle drug operation in New Caney

NEW CANEY, Texas — Authorities in Montgomery County have dismantled a local drug operation following an early morning raid, leading to the arrest of a New Caney resident. The operation was spearheaded by Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable Kenneth Rowdy Hayden and his team.

Detectives from Montgomery County Precinct 4’s Criminal Investigations Division executed a search warrant just before sunrise on October 27, 2025, at a residence near the 20000 block of Clyde Drive in New Caney. The investigation targeted Kirk Wilson, a 53-year-old resident of New Caney, who was suspected of dealing narcotics in the Silver Trails subdivision, according to a press release from the department.

The search, which involved the Pct. 4 patrol division, Drone Team, Special Response Team, and on-scene leadership, resulted in the discovery of numerous illegal narcotics, scales, and packaging materials.
