WALLINGFORD — Neighborhood dive bar Kate’s Pub, which has occupied a storefront on North 45th Street for 20 years, is closing after Halloween night. The Seattle Times has more details on the closure: Kate’s struggled with pandemic debt and rising costs; owner Kate Barrett told the paper that she hadn’t been paying herself in order to keep the bar running.
