Folks in Forest Acres didn’t have to wonder for very long what might go in the former TakoSushi spot on Forest Drive.
Jimador Real Mexican Cuisine is planning a new restaurant at 4711 Forest Drive, in a shopping center that’s anchored by a Lowes Foods grocery store. There are banners hanging outside the space announcing that the Mexican restaurant is “coming soon” and the city of Forest Acres announced the plans in a Tuesday morning Facebook post.
Jimador Real Mexican Cuisine is part of the El Jimador chain that has been popular in the Midlands, with locations in Cayce, Columbia, Lexington, Irmo and elsewhere. An opening date in Forest Acres hasn’t been publicly announced…
