Milwaukee’s famed boat Deep Thought is officially scrap metal.
But the boat’s legacy lives on, and pieces of it may soon be found around the city.
Deep Thought became a temporary Milwaukee landmark after it got stuck on the shores of Lake Michigan between McKinley Marina and Bradford Beach for more than seven months, between October 2024 and May 2025.
