NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Hundreds of litigants who have sued the Archdiocese of New Orleans for alleged clergy sexual abuse have until Wednesday (Oct. 29) to cast their votes on a proposed $230 million settlement plan.
Richard Coon cast his vote Monday, saying his ballot was less about money and more about local Catholic church leadership.
“I voted ‘yes’ to get (Archbishop Gregory) Aymond out of town,” Coon said. “I just think he’s been a horrible leader.”…
