NORMAN, Okla. – A strong cold front moving across Oklahoma will bring biting winds and a sharp drop in temperatures by midweek, with a Freeze Watch in effect from late Wednesday night through Thursday morning. Wind gusts could reach 50 mph before the chill sets in.
According to the National Weather Service in Norman, subfreezing temperatures as low as 28 degrees are possible across central, northern, northwestern, and southwestern Oklahoma, extending into northern Texas.
