SPOKANE, Wash. — Offices for the WIC Nutrition Program in Spokane will close Thursday until further notice, according to Spokane Regional Health District.
On Tuesday evening, SRHD announced its offices for the WIC (Women, Infants & Children) Nutrition Program will close on October 30, due to the ongoing federal government shutdown.
SRHD said people with WIC benefits should continue to use their benefits until further notice and that SRHD is working with the Washington State Department of Health to ensure benefits for all WIC participants auto-renew in November…
