FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — A Maryland man was arrested for a wide-ranging crime spree targeting gym lockers across the D.C. region. Fairfax County Police said the man was wanted on nearly 140 warrants for stealing.
A months-long investigation, coordinated with DC Police and the Fairfax County Fugitive Tracking and Apprehension Team, resulted in the arrest of 50-year-old Robert Brockton on Oct. 23 in D.C.
Since December 2024, detectives have linked Brockington to a series of gym thefts where he broke into lockers, stole personal items and credit cards, and used them at nearby stores before victims realized what happened.
