Allentown ruling opens door for Buffalo hotel takeover

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) – A judge’s ruling last week may open the door for the city to take over the Buffalo Grand Hotel downtown.

Judge Diane Devlin ruled Thursday that the long vacant 2 Saint Louis Place building in Allentown has been abandoned. The ruling opens the door for the city to take over the property, and take action against property owner Chuck Dobucki.

The building may be taken over by the city using the same process they have initiated against the Buffalo Grand Hotel, formerly the Adam’s Mark hotel in Downtown Buffalo…
