Charlotte Food Lion employee attacked after attempting to confront suspected shoplifters

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Detectives from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are working to identify two people involved in an alleged theft and assault.

According to police, the assault happened Monday, Oct. 20, at the Food Lion located at 2226 Park Road.
