CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three years after Shanquella Robinson, a Charlotte woman, was killed while vacationing in Mexico, her family’s attorneys are once again calling for justice.
Nationally recognized civil rights attorney Ben Crump and attorney Sue-Ann Robinson released a joint statement marking the anniversary of Robinson’s death, urging U.S. authorities to take action and release more information about the case.
“Three years have passed since Shanquella’s life was taken, yet her family still waits for justice,” the statement reads. “The fact that no criminal charges have been brought in the United States is not only heartbreaking but unacceptable.”…
