CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (WKRN) — A man wanted for multiple charges — including offenses related to domestic violence — was taken into custody following a vehicle and foot pursuit through Christian County Tuesday night.
According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, deputies went to Lafayette Road around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28 to serve an arrest warrant for Timothy Osiborski, 40, of Herndon. That warrant included charges for second-degree strangulation (domestic violence), fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), first-degree unlawful imprisonment, and first-degree wanton endangerment.

When authorities tried to serve the warrant, Osiborski allegedly backed his vehicle through the closed garage door at a high rate of speed, nearly hitting law enforcement. Officials said deputies responded to “the immediate threat” by firing one round toward the suspect’s vehicle as he fled the area, during which time he struck a Kentucky State Police cruiser.
The sheriff’s office said there was a short pursuit, which ended when Osiborski abandoned his vehicle and ran into a nearby field along Mt. Vernon Church Road, armed with a firearm.
