Although Michigan has seen a notable surge in car break-ins over the past couple of months, very few such crimes have been reported in South Haven.
In the Metro Detroit area, police are investigating a string of coordinated nighttime car break-ins across multiple cities. And in Kent County, the Kent County Sheriff’s Office issued warnings after a sharp increase in thefts, including car break-ins.
