KENT COUNTY, Michigan — Kent County Veterans Services will launch its annual Operation Green Light initiative on November 4. They plan to distribute 2,000 free green light bulbs to residents and businesses.
The week-long campaign, running from November 4 to 11, encourages residents to replace their outdoor lights with green bulbs to show support for military veterans. The initiative is part of a nationwide program led by the National Association of Counties and the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers.
