RCSD to add anti-passing bus cams, warning period begins Monday

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — On Wednesday, Mayor Malik Evans held a press conference to announce new additions to the Rochester school bus safety program.

Rochester Central School District will be one of several Monroe County districts to install security cameras on the sides of buses to catch people who illegally pass stopped school buses.

In the city, there will be a two-month warning period before fines are issued, beginning Monday.
