Remembering the deadly Ybor City shooting two years later

TAMPA, Fla. — It has been two years since a deadly Halloween weekend shooting in Ybor City.

As crowds packed Seventh Avenue for celebrations, an argument between two groups erupted into gunfire. Twenty-year-old Harrison Boonstoppel and 14-year-old Elijah Wilson were killed, and 16 others were hurt.

To this day, 22-year-old Kila Ryker continues to recover from the injuries that changed her life both physically and emotionally. Her family said they’re grateful to be able to hold her every day…
