Chubby Cattle is making a move on Texas. The hotpot spot is opening a location in Austin soon. According to this Facebook post, you can expect to see the new eatery open early in 2026. The fast-growing hot pot food chain announced on its website that it will be opening at 2901 S. Capital of Texas Hwy. Unit J01B.
The company is run by co-owners Haibin Yang and David Zhao. Founding partner, Zhao, states on his LinkedIn, “since opening its first restaurant in 2015, Chubby Cattle International has scaled to ten locations across the U.S.”
The Chubby Cattle website goes on to explain the restaurateur’s journey. It writes, “Since opening our first location in Monterey Park in April 2023, Chubby Cattle has rapidly grown. Today, we proudly operate four locations in Los Angeles and six locations across the United States, with our Rowland Heights location serving as our flagship store.”…
