CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — H-E-B is stepping up to help Texas families in need, donating $5 million to food banks across the state, including the Coastal Bend Food Bank.
The statewide contribution comes as part of the grocery chain’s ongoing partnership with Feeding Texas, the nonprofit network that helps distribute food to communities facing hunger. Out of the $5 million donation, $310,000 will go directly to the Coastal Bend Food Bank.
