The body of a man reported missing last month was found in the hills near the Jumbo Grade gravel pit, according to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a report of a body on Friday, Oct. 24. Search and Rescue teams used off-road vehicles to reach the scene and found 34-year-old Ryan Carter Laxague, later identified by the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
Laxague had last been seen the evening of Sept. 1, and his white Chevy Silverado pickup was found Sept. 17 in the Jumbo Grade Hills area, authorities said…
