The Kaua‘i Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify human remains found on April 9, 2025, at ‘Aliomanu Beach. The remains were in an advanced state of decomposition, likely from ocean exposure. Forensic and DNA analysis confirmed the remains are of a male.
Investigators found a surgical mesh from a past hernia repair and clothing, including two pairs of thermal underwear and green corduroy pants.
