WALDORF, Md. (DC News Now) — An investigation is underway after a shooting outside a convenience store in Waldorf left a person dead and another hospitalized, according to deputies.
Details are limited; however, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office said detectives were on the scene of the shooting that broke out in the parking lot of the Westlake Dash-In early Wednesday morning.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene, and another man was taken to the hospital. His condition is currently unknown.
