Late-Night Cravings? Chick-fil-A Unveils 24/6 Vending Machine in Georgia

Augusta, GA – For those moments when a sudden craving for a Chick-fil-A wrap strikes at an ungodly hour, the fast-food giant is piloting a solution: its first-ever 24-hour vending machine. Currently stationed at the Wellstar Medical Group Health Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia, this innovative “market fridge” aims to satisfy appetites around the clock, six days a week, of course.

The pilot unit, conveniently located near a full-service Chick-fil-A restaurant on campus, offers a select menu for those seeking a quick bite. Patrons can choose from the Chick-fil-A Cool Wrap with Avocado Lime Ranch or the Southwest Veggie Wrap with Creamy Salsa. To complete the meal, both original and Chick-fil-A Sauce-flavored waffle potato chips are also available.

This high-tech vending machine ensures freshness by automatically flagging and rendering expired products unavailable for purchase. It’s restocked every 18 hours, and each wrap comes in a sealed box, complete with a napkin.

Pricing at the vending machine mirrors the regular menu, with the Cool Wrap priced at $8.49, the veggie wrap at $7.99, and chips at $2.19. Payments are exclusively card or mobile-based, and customization options or drink selections are not available. In keeping with Chick-fil-A’s long-standing tradition, the vending machine, like its brick-and-mortar counterparts, observes Sunday closures.

At this time, Chick-fil-A has not announced any plans for a wider rollout of these vending machines. The Augusta unit remains a test concept, primarily serving the medical center’s staff, students, and visitors.
