A man who was involved in a nearly 12-hour standoff with police in Livonia, Michigan, was taken into custody Wednesday night.
Authorities say officers were conducting a welfare check on a man having a mental health episode at Arbor Woods Condominiums on Ann Arbor Trail. That’s when they say they heard a gunshot from inside the home.
