JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — For the first time, the mother of two people hit by an off-duty Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputy who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol is speaking out.
This crash happened Oct. 8 in Center Point. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, an off-duty Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputy ran a red light and hit a car.
